BroadStage has a longstanding commitment to arts education. Through collaboration and partnership, meaningful conversations, and community interaction, we design programs that fall under the umbrella of BroadStage Activations.

What is an Activation?

Activations are onsite, offsite, or digital offerings that welcome our artists, students, educators, families, and you to learn, connect, and grow. 

Engaging with the artist’s creativity and with each other beyond the stage, whether through community field trips, learning guides, artist workshops, each Activation is a conduit of inspiration, joy, learning, and introspection.

Artist Residencies

BroadStage partners with iconic figures and emerging artists for Artist Residencies, which include a combination of performances, curation, and mentorship for students on the cusp of their professional careers.

Learning Guides

Everyone can get a glimpse into the artist’s inspiration, learn about the concepts or ideas in the performance, and enjoy fun and relevant activities along with resources for your curiosity!

Digital Student Matinees

Making performances accessible to students and creating collaborative learning spaces for educators, the Student Matinee Program includes Professional Development sessions and Learning Guides to support arts-integrated learning.
