Off Site Events

Join BroadStage as we participate in and/or present artists at the following community events:

Pre-Show on The Plaza

Pop in for pre-show music on The Plaza before select performances at BroadStage. Come a bit early to catch student music groups who have worked with our Artist in Residence: Stanley Clarke, or who are part of a local music organization. Support the next generation of musicians as they develop their professional performance skills and share their arts passions with you.

  • SMC Applied Music Program -  10/19, 1/26, 2/15, 5/16
  • Samohi Jazz Combo - 12/20, 1/25, 4/4
  • Elemental Music - 2/1, 3/29, 5/10
  • SOL-LA Academy - 10/6, 3/15, 4/27

Artist in Residence

BroadStage partners with iconic figures in the arts to design and serve as our Artist in Residence, which include a combination of performances, curation, and mentorship for students on the cusp of their professional careers.

Community Field Trips (CFT)

Community Field Trips create access to the arts. BroadStage welcomes groups through partnerships with local organizations and institutions that provide services for historically underserved, underrepresented or income-impacted individuals, students and/or families. Participants receive group discounts to attend performances with additional support to learn about the arts and create an impactful experience for those newer to attending live performances.

Everyone's Here

In Community programs welcome participants that are intergenerational, encompass all gender identities, include varied socioeconomic, racial, and cultural backgrounds, and strive to accommodate people of all abilities.
