Festival Schedule

  • If you selected email delivery, please click the link in your email to access your tickets.
  • For scanned entry, you can show your tickets on your phone or print them out.
  • If you selected Will Call as your ticket delivery method, you may pick up your tickets at the box office beginning two hours prior to the show. Please have your ID ready.

  • Code of Conduct: At the Future Sounds of Jazz Festival, we strive to create a safe, secure, and memorable experience for all attendees. All attendees are welcome and must be treated with respect, regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, body size, appearance, citizenship, or pregnancy. Discrimination, hate speech, and harassment are strictly prohibited. 
  • COVID-19: If you are feeling ill, or have recently been exposed to COVID-19, please stay home. For ticket exchange and donation options due to illness, please visit the page here. Any emails or phone calls received after showtime will not qualify for ticket exchange.
  • Rain or Shine: The event will take place regardless of weather. Los Angeles is unpredictable, so please be prepared for hot temperatures as well as rain and wind.
  • Safety and Security: Safety is of utmost importance, and upon arrival, each patron will have their bags searched. Additionally, please locate the nearest exits upon your arrival to the venue, and in the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of the staff and security onsite. 
  • If you see something, say something. If you notice any suspicious activity or behavior, please report it immediately to a staff member or security onsite.
  • Medical and First Aid: If you need medical or first aid assistance, please visit the tent onsite in the parking lot (near 11th Street). 
  • ADA Accessibility: At BroadStage, we are committed to ensuring that as many people as possible are able to experience the magic of live performance. We offer a number of services to accommodate persons requiring mobility, vision, and hearing access. All venues are wheelchair accessible. When ordering tickets online, please choose from designated wheelchair locations. Assisted listening devices are available in our Main Stage. Large-print materials are available for all performances.
  • Service Animals: BroadStage welcomes service animals, which are dogs and miniature horses that are trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, therapy animals, and pets are not permitted. Service animals must be leashed or harnessed at all times, and will share the seating area of the person with a disability, as aisles and walkways must be kept clear for safety.
  • Smoking Policy: Santa Monica College is a smoke-free campus. Smoking on public sidewalks adjacent to the campus is not unlawful. Those found smoking may be asked to leave the premises.
  • Merchandise: Official Future Sounds of Jazz Festival merchandise will be available for purchase at the venue, while supplies last. Credit or debit payment will be accepted.
  • Cameras and Recording: Professional audio and video equipment are prohibited, as is audio-capturing or any recording for reproduction. If you are taking photos or videos with your cell phone and/or point and shoot camera, please be respectful to those around you. 
  • Seating: General admission seating is on a first come, first served basis. VIP ticket-holders will receive VIP seating in the Main Stage balcony, and priority seating in the Music Hall. Premier ticket-holders will receive Premium seating in VIP sections, and priority seating in the Music Hall. Patrons may not bring outside chairs. 
  • All ticket sales are final, and may not be returned or exchanged.
  • Artists and set times are subject to change without notice.
  • Purchase of a festival pass implies agreement to be filmed, photographed or recorded.

FAQ

Onsite parking is ONLY available for premier ticket holders. All premier ticket holders receive one parking pass to park in the lot at the venue on the day of the event. 

If you are not a premier ticket holder, you may: 

  • Utilize one of our shuttles, circulating every 20 minutes from the main Santa Monica College campus. Park in SMC Parking Structure 4 at 1604-1630 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica, CA, 90405 (either enter off Pico Blvd. or pull into the campus off Pico and hang to the right). The shuttle stop will be in front of structure 4 on the corner of 16th Street and Pico.
  • Use a rideshare service (Uber, Lyft) and have your driver drop you off in our designated onsite rideshare zone at 1334 11th St.
  • Take the Metro E-line to the 17th Street / SMC Station and walk a few blocks down to the venue.
  • Park nearby in Santa Monica and walk to the venue.

Yes, if you leave the festival you can come back in, as long as you still have your wristband on.

  • Sunscreen
  • Empty refillable water bottles
  • Clear bags under 12”x6”x12”
  • Small clutches / wristlets that are 9”x6” or smaller (do not need to be clear)
  • Diaper and medical bags accompanied by the Guest using them
  • Canes and similar mobility assistance devices
  • Point-and-shoot cameras (cannot be used to reproduce the event, and cannot be accompanied by detachable lenses or tripods).
  • Over the counter medications and prescriptions with a valid photo ID that matches the name printed on the prescription.

Note: Any of the following items will be confiscated and discarded by security.

  • Outside food and beverage*
  • Illegal substances
  • Firearms, weapons, pepper spray, pocket knives, tools of any kind
  • Beach umbrellas
  • Chairs
  • Glass, cans, aluminum bottles, flasks, coolers
  • Selfie sticks, tripods, monopods
  • Professional audio, photography and video equipment
  • Drones
  • Any type of sign, flag or display not related to the event
  • Laptops, computers, and tablets
  • Hoverboards, skateboards, bicycles (must be parked and locked outside the venue)
  • Noise-making devices
  • Pets

*Food and beverage required for medical purposes is permitted but must be accompanied by proof of necessity or prescription.
